Frankincense Extract

This 90% extract powder is a concentrated form of frankincense (Boswellia serrata) specially selected for potency and convenience. We source it directly from the laboratory that performs the extraction. Frankincense contains a variety of naturally occurring compounds including boswellic acids, thujene, incensole, and a variety of terpenes such as pinene and limonene. These compounds have numerous documented benefits and are used for their antidepressant, anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing), antinociceptive (pain-relieving), antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral effects.

Small doses (25-50 mg) provide a gentle mood lift and mild pain relief. Large doses (75-150 mg) provide stronger pain relief and sedation. For anxiety, etc., large doses are recommended. It can also be helpful to relieve the adverse effects of caffeine overconsumption. Frankincense extract is non-toxic and is safe to re-dose as needed for desired effects. Some people may be more sensitive than others. The spoon can be used to measure dosage. It holds approximately 150 milligrams when full.
